Family Math Night

Come One! Come All! It's the Pima Butte Family Math Night-Under the Big Top! 

Just a reminder that Math Night will be held this Monday, October 28th from 5-6:30 pm. We encourage you to wear your Halloween costumes and come join us for a night of fun!

The Cake Walk is still in need of donations.  If you are able to help we would greatly appreciate any STORE BOUGHT items! Please make sure any donations are on campus by 11:00 am, Monday the 28th.

MHS Spirit Week -October 14-18

Ram Riot- Homecoming 2013 is right around the corner! To show our support for the Maricopa High School spirit week we will be participating in all dress up days during the week of October 14-18.

Monday, October 14 - Mis-Match Day (CrAzY cLoThEs)
Tuesday, October 15 - Sports Day
Wednesday, October 16 - Boot Camp Day (camouflage wear)
Thursday, October 17 - Pink Day (support breast cancer awareness)
Friday, October 18 - RAM PRIDE (Wear Red, Black and White) 

Thursday, October 17th from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. at Ram Stadium there will be a Powder Puff football game, community pep rally and People parade at half-time.

Friday, October 18th - 2:30 -6:30 p.m. at the MHS Courtyard there will be a Community Carnival.  7:00 p.m. is kickoff for the football game!

Telling Time

Our focus last week was telling time to the minute and using elapsed time.  Students have had a difficult time grasping elapsed time.  This is a link to some amazing sights on time.

We are excited about our upcoming school year! We hope that you are as excited to tackle our new adventures that lie ahead of us.  Please come to Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 1st, from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.  Mrs. Oliver will be in Room 12 and Ms. Palmer will be in Room 13.  We can't wait to meet you and your family!

Friday, January 4th, Mrs. Oliver and her family welcomed their newest addition to their family.  Congratulations to the Oliver family! 

Mrs. Oliver will be out on maternity leave through April 10th.  If you need any information regarding her classroom please contact Mrs. Griswold or myself.
